There are no hookups or showers here, but it was worth the cede to stay here. Cute sunrises and sunsets with many hiking options nearby. Super close to the Desert Museum and Saguaro NP. Our site was tight only cozy.

This was our first fourth dimension staying hither. It was a quick trip. Nosotros reserved our spot. It was a repose campground and very peaceful. Roads are paved and sites have gravel. This was our beginning time staying here. Information technology was a quick trip. We reserved our spot. Information technology was a serenity campground and very peaceful. Roads are paved and sites have gravel. Make sure you have leveling things to level your rig. Sites are non 100% level. At that place are water places all over the campground to make full upward h2o and in that location is a designated place to dump your tanks. At that place are electricity hook ups merely that'due south information technology. Not water or sewer hookups at each site. Overall this place is cute and shows what the Arizona desert is truly like. There are also public bathrooms and places to shower if you lot don't have that available to you. A lot of walking trails. They let dogs but they must be on a leash. Just splendid! I'd stay over again. The location is about 30 mins from downtown Tucson. I also had all bars with Verizon wireless and no bug with cell phone service.

We were here 3 years agone when all was FCFS, now mostly reserved which is fine as I plan our trips well in advance. The Sonoran desert museum was worth a 2nd visit! I also enjoyed the hike loop of King Canyon to Wesson Peak and down Gould Mine trail. Very skillful views! Good bike ride down McCain Rd to hwy, very light traffic. We'll be back!

I like Catalina SP, simply this campground is cute. Our site is individual; we overlook a desert landscape with mountains in the altitude. We have a T@b teardrop and then there were no bug with the access road or bankroll into the site. There were very few big rigs here so we felt right at habitation! I like Catalina SP, only this campground is beautiful. Our site is private; we overlook a desert landscape with mountains in the altitude. Nosotros take a T@b teardrop and then there were no issues with the access road or backing into the site. In that location were very few big rigs here and so we felt right at dwelling house! Bathrooms were clean and user-friendly. No showers.

The road in was quite rough from lack o' maintenance but was like shooting fish in a barrel to get to the campground. The route in the C loop is a scrap narrow only not a trouble. Our site was a pull through so easy to get into. I would not similar even endeavor to back into a site with our rv in that loop. Our site was a pull through so easy to get into. I would non like even attempt to dorsum into a site with our rv in that loop. There were other sites in A loop that would be easy to access for a big rig. The power pole in our site, and a few others that I noticed, was on the incorrect side of the site. Will need a long ability cord.
The views are phenominal! Great sunsets and sun rises.
T-Mobile was awesome. 5G 4 bars (5G is not an option available on this site to choose from)
We have been on the road for 8 months now and this was a top 2 for us. When we return to this area we will be back.

Nosotros take stayed hither multiple times and just cannot say how much we love it. The landscape, condition of the grounds, staff are all fantabulous. Proximity to civilization, breathtaking drives ( Gates Pass Rd), and all those Saguaro cactus!! Remote and still fully continued. Perfect!!

The views of the desert and mountains are scenic equally are the nearby hiking trails. The restrooms are nicely maintained, and the two dump stations are level with smashing access. The 3 mile approach to the campground has very winding narrow roads, and then drive slow equally the campground is all worth the drive in.

"Neat CG….but for the guns"

We had a great stay here. The just annoyance is the virtually abiding sound of gun fire. I guess that's just our reality now, just the nearby shooting range is going to exist your background track if you stay hither. We'll definitely come back, but information technology's merely a shame to have a shooting range then near a place that ought to exist relaxing.
